In partnership with Foundations, the network created to help you find reliable contractors for home adaptations. All members of HAIN have undertaken a detailed vetting and assessment process, so you can be assured in their commitment for delivering quality work and customer service.

Vetted

All HAIN members undergo stringent vetting and checks before being approved to join the service.

TrustMark registered

The checks undertaken to join HAIN also provide all members with TrustMark membership, the only Government Endorsed Quality Scheme for work carried out in or around the home.

Code of Practice

Members carry out all works under the HAIN code of practice, which demonstrates their commitment to delivering excellent workmanship and customer service.

Agrees proposed scheme and request quotations from HAIN contractors.

Makes full funding application.

Considers and approves the application.

Signs work contract.

Prepares contract and arranges pre-start meeting.

Creates Health & Safety plan. Signs works contract.

Signs work contract.

Oversees the work. Agrees variations. May include interim payments for larger projects.

Carries out works.

Signs off work as complete.

Final inspection and signs off work as complete.

Photo evidence of completed project.

Pay for work over and above the grant.

Certify as complete and make payments.
